The Corner Drug Store [5] (1901) is the only building on River Street that is still being used for the same business for which it was built. The Bear [6] is a delightful sculpture that graces our downtown each summer. Yuchasz Walkway [7] was named after Joseph Yuchasz, Sr. who was an active Rotarian and builder in the community. The curving sidewalks, fragrant viburnum in spring, climbing roses in summer and perennials add to the natural beauty of this space.
Odd Fellows Hall [8] Rev. James J. McLaughlin (1851 boarding house owner and later Methodist minister) was a Past Grand of the local lodge of Odd Fellows. William Anderson, who moved to Antrim County in 1867 was a member. The building is now used for office space.
