At path’s end, turn left on to River Street and proceed to Elm Street.

The large house on the corner, built about 1880, is the Marker House [23]. The Markers are descendants of E.S. Noble, one of the founders of the iron company. The Widow’s Walk House [24] at 603 River Street was built in 1876 for the Reverend A.C. Lewis of the Episcopal Church. Note the crosses built into the chimney. Widow’s Walk is a spacious home with 5 bedrooms, and 4 1/2 baths.
